Islamabad: Even in the month of Ramzan, the people of Pakistan are not getting relief from the flour crisis. The neighboring country surrounded by an economic crisis is troubled by the shortage of flour these days. In view of the serious financial crisis that Pakistan is facing, not everyone in the country is able to celebrate the festival in full. According to Dawn News, inflation in food products rose to 47% in rural areas, while it was recorded at 41.9% in urban areas.

Now a video is becoming increasingly viral on social media where the crowd can be seen fighting among themselves for sacks of flour. In this video shared by Pakistani journalist Mohammad Faheem, it can be seen how people are fighting among themselves for ten kg flour sacks.

Hundreds of people are seen struggling to pick up sacks of flour from a mini truck. Please tell me that the ruckus in Pakistan regarding flour is not a new thing. Before this, even a day before, a long line of several kilometers has been seen in Pakistan regarding flour.

It was shared by Taimur Khan, former finance minister of KP state of Pakistan. Let us tell you that the price of a 20 kg bag of flour has increased from Rs 800-1,500 to Rs 1,295-3,100 in different areas of the country as compared to the last Ramzan. The price of five and ten kg branded fine flour bags has increased by 80-90% today compared to last year’s price, which was Rs 820-870 and Rs 1,600 respectively.
