Islamabad: A police van was targeted with explosives in the Bolan area of the Balochistan state of Pakistan. At least 8 policemen traveling in the van were killed and around 10 were injured in the incident that took place on Monday. According to sources, the injured have been taken to Sibi Civil Hospital for treatment. It was told that a van carrying policemen from Sibi to Quetta was targeted by explosives near Landi Khosa in Bolan. According to a report in Pakistan’s newspaper Dawn, the incident took place on Cambri Bridge in the Bolan area of Balochistan.
This place is adjacent to the border of Sibi and Kutchhi borders. It was said in the news that the initial investigation pointed toward a suicide attack. At present, the incident of the attack is still being investigated. It has been said in the news that the number of injured policemen is reported to have increased to 15.
