The Awami Action Committee (AAC) has decided to hold a symbolic protest in Gilgit over the undeclared power cuts and other urgent issues. In the protest, AAC mainly wants to raise the issue of dismantling the flour dealership. Traders are facing huge losses due to a power cut for 21 hours in the entire city.
According to media reports, there is a daily power cut of up to 10 hours in the Gilgit-Baltistan province of PoK. Apart from power cuts, people are also facing problems due to inflation for a long time. Pakistani vernacular media has given this information. PFMA officials said flour mill owners were being blamed for the crisis, when in fact the government banned the transport of wheat from state to state and from district to district during the harvesting season Is.
