
Pakistan: A major accident happened in Pakistan, 17 passengers were tragically killed after a massive fire broke out in a bus in Sindh district. This bus was carrying the flood victims. In the meantime, this accident happened, and somehow the victims were going to save their lives from the flood. And this big accident happened in Sindh. 17 people were burnt to death in this accident. According to the information, about 20 other people were injured in this incident which took place in Nooriabad town, about 90 km from Karachi.
According to Pakistani media, the intercity bus was carrying more than 50 flood victims. These people were in a temporary shelter in Karachi when the accident happened. An official here said that a sudden fire broke out in a bus near Jamshoro on the M-9 motorway near Nooriabad and near Hyderabad, the dead have been sent for post-mortem. And the injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Where the condition of many is said to be serious.
Sindh Parliamentary Health Secretary Qasim Soumro, while confirming the death toll in the accident, said at least 12 of the victims were minors, aged 15 years or less. All the passengers on the bus were residents of the same village of Khairpur Nathan Shah. The Prime Minister of Pakistan has expressed grief in this matter.
A fault in the air-conditioning system caught fire in the bus, says official
“They belonged to the Mughairi community and were returning to Khairpur Nathan Shah from Karachi,” said Thaheem.
Further, the officer maintained that the fire was caused by a fault in the air-conditioning system of the coach, and added those who received severe burn injuries have been moved to Liaquat University Hospital Jamshoro. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who left for Kazakhstan to attend the 6th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), condoled the death and assured an investigation into the matter.

“Deeply saddened by the loss of precious lives in the bus fire incident on the Super Highway near Nooriabad. We pray to Allah Almighty to grant the people who died in this accident a place in His mercy, grant patience to the bereaved families and speedy recovery to the injured,” he said on a microblogging site. It is worth mentioning deadly road accidents are common in Pakistan due to poor road infrastructure and disregard for traffic laws, as well as poorly maintained vehicles. According to local media reports, earlier in July of last year, a jam-packed bus carrying mostly laborers traveling home for a major Muslim holiday rammed into a container truck on a busy highway in central Pakistan, killing at least 33 people.
