
New Delhi: There was a huge explosion on Sunday near Ganj Mandi Police Station in Rawalpindi city of Pakistan. About 14 people have been injured in this explosion. However, according to a Pakistani newspaper, 25 people have been injured.
According to Pakistan newspaper Dawn, 25 people were injured in Sunday’s blast near the city’s Ganj police station in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Initially, the hand grenade was said to attack. But Mohammad Ahsan Younus, City Police Officer (CPO) of Rawalpindi, said that the nature of the blast is being ascertained.

According to the CPO, this is the second blast in the last 10 days near a police station. He said that on December 4, an explosion was carried out using equipment near Pir Vadhai police station. One person was killed in this, while seven others were injured.
According to CPO Younis, the explosion took place at a filtering plant located in Ganj Mandi Police Station area. The area has been closed. Along with this, officials of the Anti-Terrorism Department and forensic experts have reached the spot.
The police officer said that one such incident was registered on June 12. One person was killed in this accident, while 12 people were injured in the explosion surrounding it.
At the same time, rescue officials said that 22 victims have been shifted to the district headquarters hospital. Whereas, three people have been given first aid near the spot.
