Phoenix: A federal security officer was injured when he was fired from a moving vehicle in Phoenix, USA. A person has been detained in connection with the incident. According to the city’s police and the FBI, the officer has been taken to the hospital and is out of danger.
FBI office spokesman Jill McCabe said a person has been detained in connection with the incident. The FBI said it was investigating the case, so would not divulge further details. At the same time, the police has released a photo of a silver colored car leaving from the area.
An official said that the court security officers work on the instructions of the US Marshals Service, but they are recruited by private security companies. Following the firing incident, the roads around the court were closed and security was beefed up. The court clerk said that the court was open to the public.
