In a rapid series of targeted attacks, Israel asserts that it has successfully eliminated three top commanders from its adversaries. The operation commenced with the killing of Fouda Shukr, a senior Hezbollah commander. Shukr was reportedly killed in an airstrike in Beirut, Lebanon’s capital, on Tuesday. His body was discovered buried under rubble, confirming the strike’s effectiveness.

Airstrike in Tehran Takes Down Hamas Chief

Following the Beirut operation, Israel’s air force conducted a pre-dawn raid on Wednesday, targeting a residence in Tehran, Iran. The strike resulted in the deaths of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and one of his bodyguards. This information was corroborated by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which confirmed the attack on Haniyeh’s home.

Confusion Surrounds Death of Hamas Military Chief Mohammad Deif

Amidst these operations, Israeli forces have now confirmed that Mohammad Deif, the chief of Hamas’ military wing, was killed in an airstrike in Gaza on July 13. However, this confirmation only came today, adding to the confusion surrounding his death. Deif was reportedly targeted in a compound in Khan Younis, where another Hamas commander, Rafa Salemeh, was also killed during the same strike.
