New York: Strong earthquake tremors have been felt in Tonga. According to the US Geological Survey, the intensity of the earthquake felt at 19:10:52 international time on Friday was measured at 6.5 on the Richter scale.
The US Geological Survey reported that the earthquake’s epicenter was 270 kilometers south of Ohonua, Tonga, and 10.0 km below the surface at a depth of 23.779 degrees south and 175.172 degrees west longitude.
