Gaza: The armed wing of Hamas, Al-Qassam Brigades, has confirmed the death of one of its key commanders, Zahi Yasser Abd al-Razek Oufi, along with seven other fighters in an Israeli attack on the West Bank town of Tulkaram. This announcement was made by Hamas on Friday, emphasizing that Israel “must pay the price for its criminal acts.”
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Thursday night that it had successfully targeted and killed Oufi, a pivotal figure in the Hamas network. According to the IDF, Oufi was responsible for planning and leading the car bombing in Ateret on September 2nd.
