What is the issue of 5G
American companies have decided to implement 5G technology to provide fast internet access to passengers. Whereas, Airlines Industries says that it can have direct effects and the technology can interfere with the work of sensitive equipment of airplanes. Airlines say that 5G should not come on runways.
Companies like AT&T and Verizon say their technology is secure and is being used in many other countries. However, he has said that he will limit technology outside some airports as tensions do not subside. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said on January 14, “Interference of 5G with an aircraft’s radio altimeter could prevent the engine and braking system from entering landing mode, which could prevent an aircraft from stalling on the runway.”
Apart from India, Emirates, Japan’s two major airlines Nippon Airways and Japan Airlines have said that they will reduce Boeing 777 flights. At the same time, according to media reports, British Airways has decided to replace the Los Angeles-bound Boeing 777 with Airbus A380.
