New Delhi: During the last week, pre-monsoon activities and dust storms were seen in many areas of the country. Looks like the weather might be changing. But there is no relief from the heat at the moment. According to the Meteorological Department, once again the period of scorching heat has started in many states of the country. Especially in North, West, and Central India, the temperature will increase further. That is, in Delhi, Punjab, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh, the temperature can increase by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for North, North-West India for the next three. The temperature in these areas can rise by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius. Heatwave conditions will continue in isolated areas of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh-Delhi, and Rajasthan, due to which there is a possibility of an increasing heatwave.

Possibility of heat stroke
The severe heatwave will continue in Uttar Pradesh and Vidarbha till April 20. On the other hand, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, and the Sub-Himalayan region as well as Sikkim may experience severe heatwave till April 20. Heatwave conditions are likely to persist in isolated areas in Madhya Pradesh. Here on April 19 and 20, an increase of 3 to 4 degrees Celsius can be seen in the temperature.

It will rain in these states
According to Skymet Weather, light to moderate rain may occur at some places over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, Tripura, and Arunachal Pradesh. Apart from this, light rain may occur at one or two places in some areas of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and South Karnataka. Parts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana may receive scattered thunderstorms and light rain.

Temperature over 40
According to a report by the Chandigarh Meteorological Department, Gurugram in Haryana recorded a temperature of 42.3 degrees Celsius while Narnaul recorded 41.8 degrees Celsius. According to the report, the temperature in Sirsa and Hisar was 41.9 and 40.8 degrees Celsius respectively. Ambala recorded a maximum temperature of 38.6 degrees Celsius while Bhiwani recorded a maximum temperature of 40.3 degrees Celsius. Bathinda in Punjab recorded a maximum temperature of 40.6 degrees Celsius while Hoshiarpur recorded a maximum temperature of 39.5 degrees Celsius. Amritsar, Ludhiana, and Patiala recorded maximum temperatures of 38.3, 37.9, and 39.2 degrees Celsius, respectively.
