New Delhi:The concerns of the veterans going marginalized in the BJP of Madhya Pradesh have further increased the meeting of Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat and Rajya Sabha member Jyotiraditya Scindia. There is speculation that Scindia’s joining the Modi cabinet has been discussed. For the first time about six months after joining BJP, Scindia, who reached the headquarters of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in Nagpur, is also being extracted from the fact that no other BJP leader is present.
Scindia has often been seen with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan since he joined the BJP. It is believed that the party’s Marathi lobby is active in Scindia’s access to the Sangh. Scindia has also started demonstrating power for the by-elections to be held in 27 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh. Thousands of Congress workers have joined the BJP on his call for a three-day membership drive of the BJP in Gwalior-Chambal division. He has the responsibility of winning 16 seats here. The Sangh has already deployed campaigners-expansors in the region to make Scindia’s electoral battle easier. Hinduist image and Marathi connection
Scindia’s political graph watchers point to his Hinduist image and Marathi connection in this development. Indeed, Jeevaji Rao Scindia greatly strengthened the foundation of the Hindu Mahasabha in the Gwalior-Chambal division. He used to field candidates for the Hindu Mahasabha in the election of the region. In the Lok Sabha elections of 1957, he had cleared the Congress. The Hindu Mahasabha won all four seats. Then Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia played an important role in strengthening the RSS and Jana Sangh. Jyotiraditya Scindia is also moving forward on the same legacy. For this, Scindia has also started giving importance to the Marathi lobby in the party. When he reached the party headquarters in Bhopal for the first time after joining the BJP, he made former MP Krishnamurari Moghe sit on the dais with him. On reaching Indore, discussed with Sumitra Mahajan for about an hour. It is evident that Mahajan is considered very close to the Sangh. Both leaders are of Marathi origin.
