
New Delhi: In the coming few days, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many parts of Central India. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the monsoon conditions will remain active over central India during the next five days. Meanwhile, isolated rain activity is likely to continue over Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and northeastern states during the next two to three days. The Monsoon Trough is active and lies to the south of its normal position. It is likely to become active and come back to its normal position in the next few days.
The IMD said in its weather bulletin, ‘Very widespread rainfall with isolated thunderstorms is likely over West Madhya Pradesh on 12th and 14th. According to the Meteorological Department, East Madhya Pradesh from 11 to 12 August, Chhattisgarh from 11 to 13 August, Vidarbha on 15, Saurashtra and Kutch on 11, Gujarat State on 12 and 13 August, Konkan, Goa, and Madhya Maharashtra from 12 to 15 August. According to the IMD’s forecast, there is a possibility of very heavy rainfall in West Madhya Pradesh on August 15, and East Madhya Pradesh on August 14 and 15.

Rain forecast in South Indian states as well
The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains during the next few days in the states of South India including Karnataka and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. The IMD has said in its forecast, that isolated heavy rain and thundershowers are very likely over Karnataka on August 12, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Yanam on August 13 and 14. There is a possibility of heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in many parts of the northern plains, western Himalayan region, and many parts of Rajasthan.
Know the condition of the states of North India including Rajasthan
According to the IMD, there is a possibility of heavy to widespread rain, thunder, and lightning in East Rajasthan from August 11 to 15. West Rajasthan on 12th and 13th, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand from 11th to 15th August, Punjab and Haryana on 11th, and Jammu and Kashmir from 11th to 14th August. There is a possibility of very heavy rainfall in East Rajasthan also on 15th August.
