New Delhi: The US Food and Drug Department (FDA Department) has given full approval to the Pfizer Vaccine. That is, now it has become a complete vaccine against Corona. Earlier this vaccine was being sold under emergency use approval. Till now all corona vaccines are being given emergency use approval by the governments. Pfizer’s vaccine is being given to everyone in the US over the age of 16.
In June last year, Britain’s Medicines Regulatory Body allowed Pfizer’s vaccine to be used in children aged 12-15 years. The country’s regulatory authority had told the vaccine to be completely safe for this age group. The authority had said, ‘We have successfully tested this vaccine on children aged 12 to 15 years. This vaccine has been found to be completely safe and effective for this age group. There is no danger of any kind in it. However, now it is up to the expert committee of vaccines in the country whether they will allow vaccination in this age group or not.
The report came about the purchase of vaccine by the Government of India
A few days ago there was news that the Government of India is in talks to buy five crore doses of Pfizer’s corona vaccine. The American newspaper Wall Street General published a report about this. This vaccine has been prepared jointly by American pharma company Pfizer Inc. and German company BioNTech. However, the Ministry of Health and Pfizer refused to answer any questions in this regard. The pharmaceutical company has not yet sought permission to use its vaccine in India. India, which is running the largest vaccination program in the world, is so far mainly vaccinating through the vaccines of Serum Institute of India and Bharat Biotech. Now the Russian vaccine Sputnik has also become a big part of the vaccination campaign.
