Washington: Gangs of Chinese hackers have defrauded the US and stolen hundreds of millions of dollars from the US COVID-19 relief benefits plan since 2020 alone. America’s Secret Service has disclosed this on Monday. The Secret Service refused to give too much information on the matter. But he has confirmed that a Chinese hacking gang is responsible for this entire forgery. Which is notorious in cyber security circles as APT41 or Winnti. It is said that APT41 is a huge cyber criminal gang.

According to cyber security experts, cyber infiltrators who are supporters of the Chinese government and people who steal data for money run a mixed cybercrime organization in that gang. Several members of this hacking group were indicted by the US Justice Department in 2019 and 2020 for spying on more than 100 companies, including software development companies, telecom service providers, social media firms and video game developers. The Chinese Embassy in Washington did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the entire matter.

Former Deputy Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen said at the time that it is regrettable that the Chinese Communist Party has chosen a different path to make China safe for cybercriminals. This goes on until they attack computers outside China and steal intellectual property useful to China. Significantly, the hackers of China are currently busy in the work of data theft and hacking all over the world including America. Their main objective is to steal the information of new research happening around the world. So that they can acquire every new technology without investing any special money and human resources.
