New Delhi: The eagerly awaited counseling session for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2024 was slated to begin on July 6. However, it has now been deferred until further notice. Here are the key updates:

  • The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) had originally scheduled NEET-UG counseling to commence on July 6. However, due to recent developments, the process has been put on hold. The exact date for resuming counseling is yet to be announced.

  • The hearing on July 8, presided over by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, will address 26 petitions related to NEET-UG. The court’s decision will likely determine the revised counseling schedule.
