Delhi’s transport minister said this
Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot has said that 630 new EV two-wheelers have been registered since the launch of the Delhi EV Policy. Vehicles are being registered every day. An analysis by RMI India has compared the subsidy on electric two wheelers and the price of the top two petrol vehicles under the Delhi EV policy, but the real savings are in operating costs. By switching to electric two wheeler, a person will save about 1850 to 1650 monthly compared to petrol scooter-bike. There will be a savings of about 22 thousand rupees compared to using a petrol scooter and 20 thousand rupees compared to a petrol bike. ‘

Kailash Gehlot said that an average electric two-wheeler reduces 1.98 tonnes of carbon emissions compared to a petrol two-wheeler. To put it simply, we need about 11 trees to absorb 1.98 tonnes of CO2. We can save the environment by switching to electric vehicles.
