Ujjain: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s ambitious Bharat Jodo Yatra was in the historical and religious city of Ujjain on Tuesday. Rahul had a busy schedule throughout the day. During the day he was seen dancing and singing in fun with PCC Chief and former CM Kamal Nath and Digvijay Singh and in the evening he prostrated himself in the court of Baba Mahakal. Later also addressed a public meeting here.
Rahul Gandhi reached Mahakal temple to seek the blessings of Bholenath. Here he worshiped and anointed Baba Mahakal according to the rules and regulations. During this, Rahul Gandhi was seen in traditional attire. The priests of the temple applied sandalwood and tilak to him. During this PCC Chief Kamal Nath and Congress MLA former minister Jitu Patwari were also present.
Rahul’s rally
After visiting the Mahakal temple, Rahul Gandhi reached Ujjain’s Social Justice Complex. There he addressed a huge public meeting. He started his speech with the proclamation of Jai Mahakal and gave a speech of about 25 minutes. He said that I am traveling from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. I have run 2100 kms. But this is not penance. The real austerity is being done by the youth, farmers, laborers, carpenters and barbers of the country.
Demonetisation and GST policy are not weapons
Targeting the BJP, Rahul Gandhi said that demonetisation and GST are weapons, not policies, which have broken the backbone of small traders, businessmen and industries. India is a country of ascetics. Those who do penance are worshiped here. The real penance was done by the laborers who went from one corner of the country to the other from Bangalore, Mumbai, Punjab during the time of Corona. That is the real penance. The youth have to work as laborers after doing engineering. Sharing the experience of the journey, Rahul Gandhi said that the love he is getting from the people is his real strength. Due to which they do not feel tired. Thousands of Congress workers and public reached to listen to Rahul in Ujjain public meeting.
Rahul also reached Digambar Jain proven area
During the Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul Gandhi is continuously meeting people of different religions and classes. He reached Digambar Jain Siddha Kshetra Bhagwan Mahavir Tapobhoomi located in Ujjain and received blessings from Jain sage after having darshan. During this he also discussed with other people of the society. Rahul Gandhi is continuously reaching religious places during his Bharat Jodo Yatra. Earlier, in Khandwa district, Rahul had also visited Lord Omkareshwar, the fourth Jyotirlinga out of twelve Jyotirlingas. At the same time, Rahul also participated in Narmada Pujan and Maha Aarti along with his sister Priyanka Gandhi.<img class=

Earlier on Tuesday morning, Rahul Gandhi’s yatra left for Ujjain from Sanwer of Indore. During the journey, many colors were seen on the way. There is huge enthusiasm among the workers and the public to see him and join the yatra. The crowd is gathering on the yatra route. Amidst the same crowd, a video of Rahul Gandhi went viral, in which he is seen dancing with PCC chief and former CM Kamal Nath and Digvijay Singh.
