Air India’s employee’s salary cut will be stopped from 1st September

New Delhi: Air India has said that due to the coronavirus epidemic, the reduction in the salary of the employees will be stopped from September 1. Due to this, the salary that the airline employees used to get before the epidemic, now will start getting the same salary from September 1.

The Tata group acquired Air India in January this year. The airline has also decided to revise the allowances and meal arrangements for the crew members from September 1. Air India’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Campbell Wilson said in a message to the employees that the airline will stop the reduction in salaries of all employees from September 1, 2022.

He said the airline still has to do a lot more to be profitable. The airline industry, which was badly hit by Kovid-19, had to take several steps, including pay cuts, to reduce costs.
