Lucknow: Jailed under the NSA, for allegedly making inflammatory statements during the protests of the Revised Citizenship Act (CAA) at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has increased. They have been increased to 3 months in the NSA period. In fact, on February 13, on the report of the Advisory Board and the DM of Aligarh, Kafeel Khan was closed under the NSA for 6 months. Now the period of being kept in jail has been extended on the recommendation of the Advisory Board. The governor has approved DM Aligarh’s report.

Third time extended: Dr. Kafeel’s wife

With this, Dr. Kafeel Khan will be in jail for a total of 9 months from February 13 under the ASA. On the other hand, Dr. Kafeel’s wife says that this period has been extended for the third time. On the occasion of Independence Day, Dr. Shabista Khan has urged people to raise their voice in support.

The orders to be revoked for the first 6 months was issued. Significantly, on August 11, the Supreme Court has asked the Allahabad High Court to take a decision on the application of Dr. Kafeel Khan’s mother in 15 days. Dr. Kafeel is jailed under the NSA for making inflammatory statements during protests against the Revised Citizenship Act (CAA) at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).
Campaign for release on social media too

Nuzhat Parveen, mother of Dr. Kafeel Khan, who was imprisoned under the NSA, demanded his release. In this case, the court has remarked that the personal freedom of the people has always been given priority by the courts. Earlier, Dr. Kafeel’s wife had also started a campaign on Twitter on August 4, regarding the release of her husband, which had received a lot of support from the people. Dr. Kafeel’s wife has requested to raise voice in support of Dr. Kafeel on the occasion of Independence Day, 15 August.
