Kabul: After the occupation of Afghanistan, the Taliban has now directly threatened America. The Taliban have said that there will be dire consequences if the Joe Biden government does not withdraw its troops from Afghanistan by August 31.
Taliban spokesman Suhail Shaheen said that US President Biden has told his troops to leave Afghanistan by August 31. There is no point in backing Biden from his point of view. The Taliban clearly said that from August 31, the period cannot extend beyond a single day. If America and Britain ask for an extension of one day beyond August 31, then the answer will be no. Along with this, there will also be serious consequences.
On the gathering of people at Kabul airport in fear of the Taliban leaving the country, Taliban spokesman Suhail Shaheen said, ‘I assure you that this is not about worry or fear. They want to live in western countries. Because Afghanistan is a poor country and 70 percent of the people of Afghanistan live below the poverty line. That’s why everyone wants to settle for a prosperous life in western countries. It is not about being scared.
US President Joe Biden had earlier set a deadline of 11 September 2021 for the withdrawal of American troops. Then it was changed to 31 August. US President Joe Biden said that the time has come to end America’s longest war. Most of the American soldiers have also returned from Afghanistan.
America spent billions of dollars to fight the Taliban
The US invaded Afghanistan in October 2001 to oust the Taliban from power. The US alleged that the Taliban regime in Afghanistan is harboring Osama bin Laden and other terrorist organizations linked to al-Qaeda. The US considers bin Laden and Al Qaeda responsible for the terrorist attacks. This is considered to be the beginning of the war between the Taliban and America. America has spent billions of dollars to fight the Taliban in Afghanistan and sent a large number of soldiers. Not only this, America has also spent on reconstruction in Afghanistan.
