The meteorological department says that dense to very dense fog is likely to prevail over Northwest India and Bihar for the next 5-6 days. Cold day conditions are also expected to persist in Western Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand for the next two days. According to the IMD, light to moderate rain and snowfall are possible in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand between January 16 and 21. Additionally, light rain is also expected in some areas of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, East Rajasthan, and Western Uttar Pradesh between January 18 and 20.
