Rio de Janeiro: In a significant bilateral meeting at the 19th G20 Summit hosted by Brazil, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva reinforced their commitment to deepening ties across key sectors. PM Modi, who arrived in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday following a two-day visit to Nigeria, praised President Lula for Brazil’s successful presidency of the G20 and its efforts to draw inspiration from India’s leadership of the previous summit.
