Pune: In Khed taluka of Pune, miscreants have carried out a sensational incident. A 37-year-old wrestler was shot dead on Thursday night at a busy square in Shell Pimplegaon, Khed. The deceased has been identified as Nagesh Karale, a resident of Shel Pimplegaon. It is being told that the incident has also been captured in the CCTV camera installed in the area, with the help of which the police is engaged in further investigation and is trying to find the accused.
According to ANI, a Pimpri Chinchwad police officer said that on December 23, 37-year-old wrestler Nagesh Karale was shot dead by four men in the Chakan area of Pune district. The investigation is on in this matter.
According to a report, the incident happened around 9.30 pm on Thursday night. The incident was captured on a CCTV camera. It is seen in the footage that as soon as Karale is sitting in his car and the attackers reached there in a car. He fired several rounds one after the other from all four directions.
Karale was seriously injured in the incident. He was taken to a private hospital in Chakan where doctors declared him brought dead. The police reached the spot after conducting a preliminary investigation and teams have been formed to trace the attackers.
