Mumbai: The festival of Diwali is being celebrated across the country today. On the occasion of Diwali, the Government of Maharashtra has again ordered the reopening of all religious places, including temples. All religious places will be open from Monday (November 16) as per the government order.

According to the order, slippers, shoes will be taken off outside the temple or religious places, but wearing a mask will be mandatory in all cases. At the same time the corona rule issued by the central government has to be followed. Because if a single corona patient roams in a crowded area without a mask, it can infect at least 400 other people. A few days ago, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had hinted that religious places in the state would be reopened after Diwali. The BJP had also staged a demonstration against Uddhav Thackeray over the reopening of temples.

The Governor had written a letter to Uddhav Thackeray
A few days ago, Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari had written a letter to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray regarding the reopening of closed religious places. He had written whether Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had received any warning from God that he would continue to evade the reopening of religious places.

The governor had written that from June 1, it was announced to open religious places in all the states, but even after four months, no steps have been taken in this direction. It is ironic that the government has opened bars and restaurants on one side, but religious places like temples have not. You have been a strong supporter of Hindutva. You publicly expressed your devotion to Lord Rama.
