Heatwave in Madhyapradesh, temperature may cross 45 degrees in some places

Bhopal: The heat has now started wreaking havoc in Madhya Pradesh. It will get worse in the coming days. The Meteorological Department says that Madhya Pradesh is about to get hotter. The heat wave will prevail in the entire state, especially in Rajgarh, Shajapur, Dhar, Khargone, and Ratlam in the western state and the mercury can reach up to 45 degrees. Meanwhile, the heatwave continued in Dhar and Ratlam for the third consecutive day. The mercury has crossed 44 degrees in many cities of the state.

The highest temperature of 46 degrees Celsius was recorded in Khargone. In terms of heat, Khargone is at the top of the hottest cities in the country. According to the Meteorological Department, a similar rise in temperature will be seen in the next few hours. The Meteorological Department has observatories in 29 cities of the state. Everywhere the temperature was recorded at around 40 degrees.

The Meteorological Department says that heat wave-like conditions have also developed in Gwalior Chambal and Bhopal. On May 13, the temperature was recorded at 44 degrees in Gwalior, 43 degrees in Bhopal, 42 degrees in Indore, and 41 degrees in Jabalpur. The mercury in all the cities of the state has crossed 40 degrees. The meteorologist told that due to the hot air and moisture coming from Rajasthan, the temperature is increasing. Apart from this, Cyclone Mocha has drawn moisture from the air.
