Election campaign in Bihar for first phase of 71 seats will come to a halt today

Patna: Monday is the last day of campaigning for the first phase of Bihar Assembly Election. The election campaign for 71 seats of the first phase will end at 5 pm. In the first phase to be held on October 28, 1066 candidates are trying their luck in 71 assembly seats of 16 districts. In this phase, a total of 2 crore 14 lakh six thousand 96 voters will cast their votes for which the Election Commission has made all preparations. Special security forces have been deployed in Naxal-affected areas. Meanwhile, there are going to be many big election rallies on the last day. Many big leaders including Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Bharatiya Janata Party president Jagat Prakash Nadda, Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav will address election rallies in various constituencies.

JP Nadda will address the election rally at 12 noon in Aurangabad and at 3.55 pm in Purnia. Apart from him, BJP leader Bhupendra Yadav and actor-MP Ravi Kishan are going to hold 4 election rallies on October 26. BJP leader Bhupendra Yadav and actor-MP Ravi Kishan will address election rallies in Rajouli, Navinagar, Dinara and Buxar. Apart from these, Union Minister Smriti Irani and Sanjay Jaiswal are to have three rallies. These two BJP leaders will address election rallies in Warsaliganj, Bodh Gaya and Shahpur.

Janata Dal United president and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will also address three election rallies. He will hold election rallies in Muzaffarpur, Mahua and Manhar (Vaishali). However, in the 3 places where Nitish is going to rally, voting is to be held in the second phase.
