London: Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II has said that the ‘Duchess of Cornwall’ Camilla will be Queen if Prince Charles becomes Her Majesty. Queen Elizabeth II on Saturday supported Camilla in her ‘Platinum Jubilee’ message to the nation and shaped the future of the royal household.

The Queen expressed her “desire” that Camilla would be known as the ‘Queen Consort’ if Prince Charles became king. On the 70th anniversary of the coronation, Elizabeth II expressed her hopes for her daughter-in-law, Camilla.

The 95-year-old Queen said in a written message: “I want to thank you all for your support. I will always be grateful for the loyalty and affection you have shown me. When the time comes when my son Charles becomes King, I hope you will give him and his wife Camilla the same support that you have given me and I wish that when that time comes, Camilla as the ‘Queen Consort’ Let me be known.”
