Health experts are blaming the reopening of business and tourist destinations for the increase in infection cases.

The total number of people who have been affected by the coronavirus in the country has increased to 9,73,284 while the death toll has risen to 22,582 due to the loss of 27 more lives in the last 24 hours. According to the data, 9,13,203 people have fully recovered from this epidemic but the condition of about 2,119 people is critical which means that the death toll may increase. The government is emphasizing vaccination and so far more than 1.90 crore doses of the anti-COVID-19 vaccine have been administered. Despite warnings from opposition parties and the performance of students, the government is conducting board examinations of secondary and higher secondary, which may increase the cases of infection.
