Patna: The dates of Bihar Assembly Election 2020 have been announced, after which political parties have started their preparations. According to which the Janata Dal-United will contest 104 seats in the 243-seat assembly, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will contest 100 seats.

The special thing is that Upendra Kushwaha has returned to the NDA. Even before this he was part of the grand alliance. This time his party RLSP will field candidates for 5 seats.

Chirag Paswan’s LJP will contest 30 seats. Apart from this, Jitan Ram Manjhi’s party we will contest 4 seats. It is being told that this seat sharing formula of NDA is almost certain. Sources have expressed the possibility of shuffling of one or two seats in it.

Will Upendra Kushwaha fight in Valmiki Nagar Lok Sabha seat?
The by-election is going to be held in Valmiki Nagar Lok Sabha seat. Upendra Kushwaha can contest on this seat. Significantly, this seat is vacant after JDU MP Vaidyanath Prasad Mahato. Kushwaha’s party RLSP was also a part of the NDA earlier, but had joined the Grand Alliance before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
