High Voter Turnout in Madhya Pradesh Phase 4 Lok Sabha Elections

Bhopal: In the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha elections held today, 68.77% of eligible voters exercised their franchise in eight constituencies across Madhya Pradesh. The polling took place in the following seats: Indore, Dewas, Ujjain, Ratlam, Mandsaur, Khargone, Khandwa, and Dhar. Notably, Dewas witnessed the highest voter turnout at 73.56%, while Indore recorded the lowest at 56.53%.

Throughout the day, voters queued up at polling stations across these constituencies, demonstrating their commitment to democratic participation. Enthusiasm was particularly evident among women and young voters. Additionally, senior citizens and differently-abled individuals encouraged fellow citizens to exercise their right to vote. Notably, in the Gudi village of the Barwani assembly constituency (part of Khargone), rural girls cast their votes while adorned in traditional attire, marking their first time participating in the electoral process. The democratic spirit prevailed as Madhya Pradesh played a crucial role in shaping the nation’s political landscape during this phase of the elections.
