Prediction of heavy rain in many parts of India issued yellow alert for Uttarakhand

New Delhi: The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rains in many parts of the country. Along with this, a yellow alert has also been issued for Uttarakhand. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain today and tomorrow in the sub-Himalayan areas of Bengal and Sikkim.

At the same time, IMD also says that the low-pressure belt of the monsoon is moving towards the Himalayas Mountains. Due to which in the coming time, there is a possibility of less rain in the plains of North India, while the rains will be more on the mountains. Due to this whole process, widespread rain conditions will be visible over Northeast and Bengal, Sikkim in the next five days.

On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in different areas of Uttar Pradesh in the next three days. Which heavy rain is expected in Chitrakoot, Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Chandauli, Balrampur, Maharajganj, and adjoining areas. Whereas heavy rain is also reported in Uttarakhand. IMD says similar rains will continue to happen here for the next two days.

It should be noted that earlier the Meteorological Department had issued a rain alert for Delhi-NCR as well. But this prediction of IMD was proved wrong. There is a possibility of light rain in Delhi even today.
