New Community feature in WhatsApp! Group admin will get more power reports than before

New information is coming out about WhatsApp these days. Now it has been reported that WhatsApp is working on a new feature ‘Community’. This feature was first spotted by XDA Developers and now its information has been received through WABetaInfo. Actually, this feature will be a place where group admin will get more on WhatsApp groups. Admins will be able to create communities within the group. The Communities feature will allow administrators to invite new users through the Community Invite link and then be able to connect with each other.

The report did not specify what the feature/community chat would look like. However, it has been said by WABetaInfo that these chats will also be end-to-end encrypted. According to the report, there will be a very slight design change in the community chat as compared to the regular WhatsApp group chat. It has been hinted that the community icons will look like squares with rounded corners.

Now that we have no idea when WhatsApp is going to launch this feature, it could help the company compete with other messaging apps like Telegram, which offer a range of features. For example, in Telegram, a group can be created with 200,000 members.
