Mumbai: New updates are coming continuously in the money laundering case of crorepati thugs Sukesh Chandrashekhar, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Nora Fatehi. Enforcement Directorate (ED) is probing all these very strictly. Both Jacqueline and Nora have agreed to accept the gift from Sukesh. Not only this, both the actresses have also agreed to testify against Sukesh for the ED. Meanwhile, another update related to the matter has come. ED will seize the prized gift given by Sukesh from these two actresses.
According to ED sources, Jacqueline (Jacqueline Fernandez Sukesh Gift) and Nora were also given some pets as gifts, and in such circumstances, they will be attached to their value as much. Sukesh reportedly gave gifts of Rs 10 crore and above to Jacqueline Fernandez between December 2020 and August 2021. Also, a screenwriter committed to returning Rs 15 lakh to Sukesh Chandrasekhar for a venture in the account of Jacqueline Fernandez.
Nora-Jacqueline’s gifted car will be seized
Nora Fatehi Sukesh Gift told the officers during interrogation, “The ED is free to seize the BMW car gifted by Sukesh Chandrasekhar.” According to IANS, the source said that the same was the case with Jacqueline Fernandez and she too has asked the ED to do the same. The source revealed, “Jacqueline told that she does not know Sukesh’s background and is ready to cooperate with us in the process of seizing the gift given by Sukesh.”
Jacqueline-Nora’s gifts will be confiscated under this act
The attachment will be processed under section 5 of PMLA. According to sources, all these gifts were allegedly bought with extortion money. According to the report, the source said that they were about to confiscate the gifts and other items given to Jacqueline and Nora, however, since they had to file the charge sheet first, the process got stalled.
The arrest of these people
The source reportedly said, “We have also arrested Pinky Irani. Filing of the charge sheet, recording of statements of fresh arrests was a time-consuming process.” He also revealed that he had to arrest 7 more people in this case who are currently lodged in Tihar Jail and they will also have to record their testimony, so it may take some time.
Nora Fatehi and Jacqueline Fernandez turn witnesses
Both Nora Fatehi and Jacqueline Fernandez are presently witnesses in the case and their testimony has been recorded in the PMLA case of 200 crores. When asked why she was not named as a suspect in the case, the source said that both the actresses were unaware of Sukesh’s crime history.
