New Delhi: During the last 24 hours in India, 3,451 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered and 40 deaths have occurred. Now the number of active patients of Kovid-19 in the country has reached 20,635. This, since the beginning of the epidemic in the country, 5,24,064 people have died due to being infected with this virus. Since the start of the epidemic, a total of 4,31,02,194 people have been infected with the coronavirus in India. At the same time, 4,25,57,495 people have been successful in recovering from corona infection.

Let us tell you that 3,805 new cases were registered in the country on Saturday. Today’s fresh cases have decreased by 9 percent as compared to yesterday. A day earlier, the number of deaths due to coronavirus infection was 22. According to the Health Bulletin of the Union Health Ministry, 35 people from Kerala alone are involved in 40 deaths due to coronavirus infection in the country in the last 24 hours. The number of active patients in the country is 0.05 percent of the number of people infected so far. At the same time, the recovery rate has reached 98.74 percent.

The daily positivity rate is 0.96 percent and the weekly positivity rate is 0.83 percent. So far 1,90,20,07,487 doses of the corona vaccine have been administered in the country, while 17,39,403 doses have been administered during the last 24 hours. The states have received more than 193 crore doses of the corona vaccine from the center so far. According to the Ministry of Health, out of the 40 people who died due to coronavirus during the last 24 hours, 70 percent of the patients already had many other diseases.

The number of active patients has increased by 332 during the last 24 hours. At the same time, the number of people who lost their lives has almost doubled. The latest figures for coronavirus infection in Delhi have not come yet. According to the data released on Saturday, 1405 new cases were registered in the national capital and 2 people died. The coronavirus infection rate had come down to 4.72 percent. A day before this, 1656 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Delhi on Friday, which is the highest after 4 February.
