Jaisalmer: Three missiles were accidentally fired during an army exercise on Friday from the Pokaran field firing range in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer. All three missiles fell at different places in Jaisalmer. A wreckage of two missiles was found in the field, while the search for one missile is on. However, there is no news of any loss of life or property in this incident so far.
According to the news of Dainik Bhaskar, sources said that three missiles were fired during the army exercise, but due to miss fire, all three missiles exploded in the sky and fell outside the field firing range. A wreckage of a missile was found in Kachhab Singh’s field near Ajasar village outside the field firing range. The debris of the second missile was found in a deserted area away from Satyaya village.
According to an army spokesperson, the misfire occurred during an exercise by a unit at PFFR. The missile exploded during flight, investigation is underway to ascertain the cause.
