Indore(M.P): This season’s quota was fulfilled by the rains in the Indore district on Saturday. The district has received 32 inches of rain so far, which would be considered normal. According to meteorologist Ajay Shukla of Bhopal-based meteorological center, Indore will now be considered normal even if there are five inches of rain, while it will be more than normal if it is more than five inches.
After estimating the rainfall in any city in 30 years, the average rainfall is calculated on the basis of average. According to a meteorological formula, the deviation of normal rainfall indicates that a place received more or less than average rainfall. According to this formula, if the rainfall is 19 percent more or less than normal, then it will be considered normal rain. More or less than this will be considered less than or more than normal.
After heavy rain in the city on Saturday, there was a relief on Sunday. On Sunday, there was a period of drizzle and sometimes showers. Light sunshine also emerged for some time. Indore received 1.2 mm of rain till 5:30 pm on Sunday evening. Due to the area of Awadab being lifted from the Bay of Bengal in north-western Madhya Pradesh, there was heavy rain in western Madhya Pradesh including Indore on Saturday.
Now, this system has moved towards East Rajasthan and has turned into a low-pressure area. Due to this, on Sunday, there was light rain despite being cloudy in Indore. Due to the sunshine in Indore, a local system will be formed, due to which there will be two to three days of thunder and light rain in some parts of the city. On August 25, another low-pressure area is set to form in the Bay of Bengal. This will increase the rainfall activity in the state from August 26, but there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in Indore from August 27 to 29.
