SG Mehta also argued that “While one side wants the Bihar Police to investigate, the other side wants the Mumbai Police to look into this case.” Now in such a situation the Center will investigate itself so that no evidence is destroyed. ” Along with this, he warned the Mumbai Police that since this case has now been handed over to the CBI and at the same time the Mumbai Police should close its investigation because any action taken by them now in the investigation to destroy the evidence Will come in scope. “
Before that, the Supreme Court reprimanded the Mumbai Police and the Maharashtra government for the said case. The court said that quarantine to the city SP Vinay Tiwari of the investigating officer Patna does not give the right message. Be aware that Patna city SP Vinay Tiwari, who came to Mumbai from Bihar to investigate the Sushant case, was forcibly made a home quarantine by BMC officials. After this, another 4-member team from Bihar to investigate Sushant case is hiding somewhere in Mumbai for fear of being quarantined.
The Supreme Court said in strong words how the Maharashtra government can behave badly with a senior IPS officer of Bihar.
