New Delhi: Honda has unveiled its first electric SUV, the Honda Prologue. This car has been developed by the company in partnership with General Motors. Not much information has been revealed about this car yet. The company will officially reveal the features of the car in the coming time. This car will offer a longer range of up to 520 km on a single charge.
This EV from Honda can get a single electric motor with FWD and RWD configurations and a dual motor setup with an AWD system. The car shares the same platform with the Blazer EV which is capable of generating 557 hp and 879 Nm of power and offers a range of up to 467 km on a single charge. The RS variant comes with a range of up to 515 km and similar specs can be expected on the Prolog.
Neo-Rugged Styling
Honda Prolog will be placed above Honda CR-V in the market. The length of this car will be 4,877 mm, the width of 1,643 mm and the wheelbase will be 3,094 mm. As for the design, it follows a new style called Neo-rugged which gives it a very unique look. Talking about the exterior of the car, the car gets sharp LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, a black panel in the center of the Honda badge, 21-inch 6 spoke wheels, a heavy raked front windshield, slim LED tail wrap around the sides of the Honda lettering. Lamps, muscular skid plates, and sculpted boot lids are seen.
Interior
The interiors get an 11.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, sleek AC vents, climate control buttons and dials, an 11-inch digital instrument console, a two-tier center console, EPB with auto hold, sport mode, and more. After the launch of this car, in 2026, many new models based on Honda’s E: architecture will enter the market.
