
Karauli: After violence between two communities in Karauli city of Rajasthan, District Collector Rajendra Singh Shekhawat has imposed Section 144. Not only this, orders have been issued to stop internet services in the district till 12 midnight on 3rd April. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot spoke to the DG and took detailed information about the situation. The Chief Minister instructed the police to deal strictly with every miscreant. The Chief Minister appealed to the general public to cooperate in maintaining peace and maintaining law and order. In fact, on the first day of Chaitra Navratri, a bike rally being taken out by Hindu organizations pelted stones at the mischievous elements in Hatwara market. According to SP Shailendra Singh Indolia, some miscreants pelted stones on the bike rally on behalf of Hindu organizations on the occasion of Nava Santsar as soon as they reached Hatwara market through various routes of the city. After this, the two communities came face to face.
Due to stone pelting, there was chaos in the market and traders closed their shops in a hurry. During this, some people set fire to more than six shops and two bikes. IG Prasanna Kumar Khmesra reached Karauli after the information of the violence.A large number of police have been deployed in the city. Police have been deployed in Futa Kot, Bhudara Bazar, Chhoti Hataria, Hatwara. In view of the tense atmosphere, a curfew has been imposed in the city. The situation still remains critical.

Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje talked to the people injured in the incident in Karauli and inquired about their well-being.
He inquired about the health of the people admitted in Karauli Hospital. At the same time, Raje spoke to former city caretaker Vipin Sharma on the phone. He also spoke to the district administration and doctors immediately after the incident. Raje said, “If the administration had taken precautions before the enthusiasm rally being taken out on the occasion of Nav Samvatsar in Karauli, this incident of attack could have been averted. The atmosphere of harmony also deteriorated due to the apathy of the administration.
