The C6 is not merely a new product but the cornerstone of the “Flying Flea” sub-brand. Drawing inspiration from the original 1940s “Flying Flea” used by British paratroopers during World War II, the modern C6 blends neo and retro aesthetics with cutting-edge EV technology. This balance of heritage and innovation recently earned the motorcycle the prestigious Red Dot Award 2025 for Design Concept.
Pricing and the “Battery-as-a-Service” Innovation
In a move to make electric mobility more accessible, Royal Enfield has introduced a “Battery as a Service” (BaaS) plan. While the outright purchase price is set at ₹2.79 lakh (ex-showroom), the BaaS option allows customers to bring the initial cost down to ₹1.99 lakh. This subscription model helps offset the high cost of lithium-ion technology, offering a more competitive entry point for urban commuters concerned about upfront expenses.
Deliveries are scheduled to begin in late May 2026, following a phased, city, by, city rollout strategy. The initial focus will be on major metros, supported by a dedicated service network specifically trained for the new electric architecture.

Built on the all-new “L” platform, the Flying Flea C6 is engineered for agility in congested city environments. Its aluminium frame and magnesium battery casing contribute to its record-low weight of 124 kg. Performance is driven by a permanent magnet synchronous motor producing 15.4 kW (approx. 20.6 bhp) and 60 Nm of torque, enabling a 0,60 km/h sprint in just 3.7 seconds.
The motorcycle’s charging capabilities are equally modern. Using a standard 15A household socket, the onboard charger can replenish the battery from 20% to 80% in approximately 65 minutes. To ensure a premium riding experience, the C6 includes:
