The 2026 Tiago EV features a reworked front fascia with sleek LED headlamps, new brow-style LED DRLs, and a closed-off body-coloured grille. Revised bumpers with faux air vents at the edges and new 15-inch wheels with contrasting wheel-arch cladding round off the exterior changes.
At the rear, the car gets slim connected LED taillights and a reworked bumper. Tata offers the 2026 Tiago EV in six colours: Dehradun Dew, Sobo Surge, Pangong Pulse, Matheran Monsoon, Pure Grey, and Pristine White.
Redesigned Cabin and Feature List
Inside, the Tiago EV receives an all-new dashboard featuring a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a new two-spoke steering wheel, and a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. Other additions include automatic climate control with rear AC vents, a cooled glove box, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, a blind-view monitor, a 360-degree camera, and cruise control.
A rotary dial now replaces the conventional gear lever, giving the cabin a more contemporary feel.
Battery, Range, and Charging
The 2026 Tiago EV continues with two battery options. The 19.2kWh unit produces 62hp and 110Nm with a claimed MIDC range of 226km, while the 24kWh pack develops 75hp and 114Nm with a claimed range of 285km. Tata’s C75 real-world range estimates stand at 160 to 170km and 205 to 215km respectively.
Both variants support DC fast charging, AC charging at 3.3kW and 7.2kW, and DC fast charging at up to 30kW.
The 24kWh version claims a 0 to 60kmph time of 5.7 seconds. The 19.2kWh version retains an 8-year or 1.6 lakh km battery warranty, while the 24kWh variant is now backed by a lifetime unlimited-kilometre warranty for the first registered owner.
Performance and Safety
The updated Tiago EV comes with four levels of regenerative braking and three drive modes: City, Sport, and Drive. Safety equipment now includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, traction control, hill hold assist, rear parking sensors, and ISOFIX mounts, making it one of the most comprehensively equipped cars in its segment.
The 2026 Tiago EV continues to compete against the MG Comet EV and Citroen eC3, retaining its position as the most affordable electric car available in India today.
