The ministry further said, “The cause of concern in Tamil Nadu where there has been an increase in the number of active cases in the last one week. Simultaneously, the infection rate in 24 states is more than 15 percent. ”

Positiveness rate falls to 19.8 percent
Aggarwal said, “Our prevention efforts are working. The overall positivity rate in India, which was 21.9% last week, has now fallen to 19.8%. Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Daman and Diu, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh have registered a big decline in terms of positivity. ”

Target to manufacture 10 crores vaccine every month
