New Delhi: 25 seriously ill patients died at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi. Giving this information, the sources have said lack of oxygen is the possible reason behind the incident.
The medical director of Sir Gangaram Hospital said that the oxygen reserves in the hospital will last another two hours, ventilators and BiPAP machines are also not working effectively. He informed that the lives of another 60 seriously ill patients are also in danger and there is a possibility of serious crisis.
The Medical Director informed that efforts are being made to restore ventilation in a non-mechanistic manner in the ICU and Emergency Medical Department of the hospital.
