
New Delhi: Apple, the world’s leading fashion company, has announced the launch of its iPhone 12 production in India soon. Apple said that the environment-friendly iPhone 12 will be started for customers (Indian customers) in India. This news has come when the iPhone 12 series has received a tremendous response in India. Apple said we are proud that we are going to start the iPhone 12 production in India for our Indian customers. The company said that Apple is dedicated to creating the world’s best products and services to please its customers.
According to market intelligence firm Cybermedia Research (CMR), despite coming in October, the iPhone 12 contributed significantly to Apple’s rise in the festive quarter (October-December period) in the country. Apple recorded over 60 per cent growth (on-year) to its India business in the year 2020, while in the festive quarter, growth was 100 per cent (YoY) impressive and the iPhone 12 contributed significantly.

Prabhu Ram, head of the Industry Intelligence Group (IIG), told IANS, “With its recent market advantage in India, Apple is poised for aggressive growth in the coming quarters. Apple started manufacturing iPhones in India in 2017 with the iPhone SE. Today, Apple manufactures some of its most advanced iPhones in India including XR, iPhone 11 and now iPhone 12. According to Navdendra Singh, Research Director, Client Devices and IPDS, IDC India, 2020 was great for Apple in terms of shipment, almost doubling as compared to 2019.
For the first time, the iPhone 12 model has used 100 per cent recycled rare earth elements, including the new camera Taptic Engine and MagSafe as well as Apple’s MagSafe accessories. Apple suppliers in India are now using solar and wind power for their needs.
