Raids will take place in marriage
Orders have been given to conduct raids in public ceremonies like marriages where the Covid rules will not be followed. Passengers from Brazil will be placed on institutional quarantines. In areas where more cases of corona will be reported, there will be more corona testing in those areas. The lockdown imposed in these three districts of Vidarbha, apart from Mumbai, cases of the corona are increasing in entire Maharashtra. In Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Wardha, Yavatmal, Amravati, Akola, and Buldhana, more than 8 percent of corona cases have been reported in the last week itself. He informed that 40,858 people are undergoing treatment for infection in the state.
An official said, “38 percent of the new cases, ie 2,105 patients are from Akola and Nagpur blocks. In Akola block alone, 1,258 new patients were found, while 542 in Amravati Municipal Corporation and 191 in Amravati district. “After 736 new cases of infection were reported in Mumbai, the total cases rose to 3,16,487 while the death toll rose to 11,432 with the death of four more patients. The official said that 1432 new cases have come in the Mumbai division and 11 people died after which the death toll has reached 19,735. Mumbai division consists of Mumbai and suburban areas.
