Mumbai: The much-awaited teaser of ‘Ganapath: A Hero Is Born’, starring Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon, and Amitabh Bachchan, has finally dropped 29 September. The film, directed by Vikas Bahl, is a futuristic action thriller set in a dystopian world where corruption and injustice prevail. Tiger Shroff plays the titular role of Ganapath, a warrior who fights for the oppressed and the downtrodden.
The teaser begins with a serene shot of Tiger Shroff meditating on a rooftop, as a voiceover says, “He was born to be a hero”. The scene then shifts to a chaotic and violent cityscape, where gangs, police, and politicians rule with an iron fist. The voiceover continues, “But he had to become a warrior”. We see glimpses of Tiger Shroff taking on the enemies with his fists, kicks, and weapons, as he displays his trademark agility and athleticism. He is also seen riding a bike and performing stunts.
The teaser also gives us a sneak peek of Kriti Sanon’s character, who is Ganapath’s love interest and partner in crime. She is shown to be equally fearless and skilled in combat, as she joins Tiger Shroff in his mission. Amitabh Bachchan’s character is also briefly introduced, as he appears to be a mentor or a guide for Ganapath. He is seen sporting an eye patch and a beard, adding to his mysterious aura.
The film ‘Ganapath: A Hero is Born’ is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Vikas Bahl under the banners of Pooja Entertainment and Good Co. The film is slated to hit the theaters on October 20, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages.’
