New Delhi: The schedule of the upcoming Asia Cup (Asia Cup 2023 Schedule) has been announced. This time the tournament was organized under the ‘Hybrid Model’ Will be Asia Cup matches will be played in Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The Asia Cup will begin on August 30. The final match will be played on 17 September. India and Pakistan will face each other on September 2 in the Asia Cup.
Releasing the schedule, ACC President Jay Shah wrote, “I am delighted to announce the schedule of the much-awaited Men’s ODI Asia Cup 2023, which is a symbol of unity and togetherness that binds different countries together. Let’s join in the celebration of the excellence of cricket and cherish the bonds that connect us all.
Will start from 30 August
There will be six teams in this tournament. Which are divided into two groups each. India hosts Pakistan and Nepal are in Group A. Whereas, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka are in Group B. This Mahakumbh will start with the match played between Nepal and Pakistan. Which will be played in Multan on 30 August. At the same time, on the second day i.e. on August 31, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will be face to face in Kandy, Sri Lanka.
MEN’S ODI ASIA CUP 2023 SCHEDULE (start times to be confirmed in due course):
Group A – Pakistan (A1), India (A2), and Nepal (Nepal will take the position of the side, which fails to progress to the Super-4 stage)
