Kedarnath yatra registration closed due to a huge crowd

Dehradun: Kedarnath Yatra is going to be completed in 2 months, but this time the weather became a big problem for the pilgrims coming to Kedarnath, due to which the registration had to be stopped several times, but as soon as the weather got better, there was a flood of pilgrims in the Dham, due to which This time offline registrations have been closed till June 16, while online registrations were already closed, Rudraprayag district administration took this decision due to the huge rush of passengers so that devotees arriving for daily darshan at Kedarnath Dham Don’t have any kind of problem. Talking about this year so far, 8 lakh 72 thousand pilgrims have visited Kedarnath Dham, while last year about 15 lakh pilgrims had visited Kedarnath.

Record pilgrims reached Chardham so far
Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand is no less than a challenge and every year the number of pilgrims coming to Chardham is increasing. The journey has not yet been completed in 2 months. The yatra started on April 22 with the opening of the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham, but till now a record 25 lakh pilgrims have visited Chardham. While the journey of about 5 months is still left. In the year 2019, 32 lakh passengers visited the Yatra, in the year 2020 and 2021, due to Kovid, less number of passengers came. In the year 2022, 46 lakh passengers were reached, and now in 2023, all the old records are expected to be broken. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had already expressed the possibility of more than 50 lakh pilgrims visiting Chardham.

Troubled by jams in different cities
Along with Chardham, there is a crowd in other tourist spots in Uttarakhand during the summer season. Due to tourists in Haridwar, Rishikesh, Nainital, and Mussoorie, there is a traffic jams for hours. To avoid this difficulty, the police in Nainital have banned entry by bike, which means now tourists will not be able to enter Nainital with a bike. In fact, tourist bikes are becoming the reason for jams in Nainital, although government employees and local people will be able to come to the city with bikes, then tourist bikes will be parked on Russi Bypass and Narayan Nagar.
