New Delhi: In view of the inauguration ceremony of the new Parliament building today, strict security arrangements have been made in the capital Delhi. All the borders of the spot have been sealed. Metro stations near Parliament will remain closed. According to top Delhi Police sources on the matter, more than 20 companies of Paramilitary Force will be deployed. It has also been told that 3000 farmers belonging to 90 khaps can enter Delhi today.
On the other hand, in view of the maha panchayat of wrestlers today, Delhi Police inspected near ITO road and put up barricades. In fact, the wrestlers, who have been on strike for the past months at Jantar Mantar, plan to march towards the new Parliament House. At the same time, before the protesting wrestlers marched toward the new parliament, the police barricaded near the Tikri border and Singhu border area. In fact, today the leaders of Khap Panchayat, farmers are being said to join in support of the protesting wrestlers.
Here, due to police inspection, there is a long traffic jam at the Singhu border. A UPSC aspirant stuck in the jam said, “I am going for the UPSC exam, but looking at the traffic, I don’t think I will be able to reach for the exam on time. I am stuck in this traffic for the last 45 minutes.” On the other hand, on the Meerut-Karnal highway road of Sadar Kotwali area in UP’s Shamli district, the police under the leadership of CO City have stopped a batch of Bharatiya Kisan Union from going to the Delhi border. Along with this, today there was information about 100 people coming to Delhi in a batch of 30 vehicles. Police have stopped the vehicle of District President Shamli and other Khap Chaudharys. Police have also been deployed today at every highway-chowk intersection in Shamli district.
